RECIPE:
Java Energy Smoothie
Serves 2
INGREDIENTS
1 cup of strong coffee, cooled
1 frozen banana
1 scoop protein powder
1/8 tsp cardamom
1/8 tsp cinnamon
1 tbsp almond butter
1/2 cup almond milk
1 1/2 tbsp cocoa nibs
1/2 tbsp maple syrup
1/4 cup crushed ice
INSTRUCTIONS
- Blend all ingredients. For extra texture, reserve ½ tbsp cocoa nibs, and add after the initial blend and then pulse to desired thickness.
