A dessert perfect for Fall evenings
A few simple ingredients create a comforting Fall dessert. Using store bought pie crust makes this Apple Tart Crumble come together in just half the time and it tastes just as good. Top it off with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and caramel drizzle for good measure.

RECIPE:
Apple Crumble Tart
INGREDIENTS
Apple Mix:
2-3 honey crisp apples
1 lemon, juiced and zested
1/3 cup granulated sugar
1/4 cup flour
Cinnamon
For the crumble:
1/2 cup flour
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup butter
Cinnamon
Pinch of salt
For the honey caramel:
1/2 cup honey
INSTRUCTIONS

Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.

Slice your apples thinly leaving the core out.

Add to a bowl with 1/4 cup granulated sugar, 1/2 a lemon juice, 1 lemon zest, sprinkle of cinnamon, then combine.

Place your pie crust in your pie dish.

Add the apple mix on top making sure to spread evenly.

Combine your crumble ingredients until you have a crumb consistency.

Add crumble mix on top of the apples evenly and bake in oven for 40 mins.

To make the honey caramel, add the honey to a small saucepan and cook on medium heat. Consistently stir until it’s frothy and a consistency that you like.

Serve with vanilla ice cream and honey caramel!
