Perfect Paloma. The name says it all.
We never need a reason to indulge in a tequila-based beverage, but here’s one anyway: Celebrate Cinco de Mayo with Ayesha’s Perfect Paloma, made with freshly squeezed grapefruit juice.

1/2 cup fresh grapefruit juice (from 2 grapefruits)
1/4 cup (4 ounces) mezcal
1/4 cup club soda
1 tbsp fresh lime juice (from 1 lime)
1 tbsp granulated sugar
Grapefruit slices, for garnish
Salt, for rim if desired
- Gently stir together all the ingredients in a pitcher filled halfway with ice until sugar is fully dissolved.
- If desired, dip the rims of 2 glasses in kosher salt.
- Fill glasses with ice. Pour cocktail into glasses and garnish with grapefruit slices.
