And that’s what you get with this Broccolini with Balsamic Brown Butter. It is no doubt a tasty side dish. But make it a meal by doubling the sauce, tossing with your favorite pasta and top (generously) with grated parmesan cheese.
RECIPE:
Broccolini with Balsamic Brown Butter
Serves 4
INGREDIENTS
2 tbsp unsalted butter
2 tsp soy sauce
1 tsp balsamic vinegar
INSTRUCTIONS
-
Heat medium pot of salted water to a boil. Blanch broccolini in boiling water for about 1 to 2 minutes. Drain and set aside.
-
In a small skillet, heat butter until brown (about 2 to 2 1/2 minutes). Watch closely and stir frequently. You’ll know it’s done when the color is a light brown and it has a slightly nutty aroma. Remove the skillet from the heat. Stir in soy sauce and balsamic vinegar.
-
Toss the broccolini in the sauce and serve.
