RECIPE:
Holiday White Sangria
INGREDIENTS
1 bottle dry white wine (like riesling or sauvignon blanc)
1/4 cup Holiday Simple Syrup (see below)
1/4 cup pear brandy
1/4 cup apple cider
1 bottle Prosecco
Holiday Simple Syrup
1/2 cup fine white sugar
1/2 cup water
1 cinnamon stick
1 bay leaf
2 cardamom pods
1 star anise
1 vanilla bean
INSTRUCTIONS

For Holiday Simple Syrup: Place fine white sugar, water, cinnamon stick, bay leaf, cardamom pods, star anise, and vanilla bean in a saucepan and cook over medium-high heat for 5 minutes. Remove from heat and cool. Pulse and strain mixture before using.

For Holiday White Sangria: Combine dry white wine, Holiday Simple Syrup, pear brandy, apple cider, and Prosecco in a punch bowl. Serve in glasses lined with sliced pear or apple and a cinnamon-sugar rim.
