Espresso Martinis have made a comeback in a big way, and we’re all for it. Try this fun take on a classic recipe by adding homemade Vegan Irish Cream.
Vegan Irish Cream Espresso Martini
- 1 ounce Vodka
- 1 ounce Espresso
- 1/4 cup Vegan Irish Cream
- Coffee beans (garnish)
- Grated nutmeg (garnish)
VEGAN IRISH CREAM
- 1 (13.55 ounce) can Coconut milk
- 1 (15-ounce) can Sweetened Cream of Coconut (such as Coco Lopez)
- 3/4 cup Coconut sugar
- 8 ounces Irish whiskey
- 3 ounces Espresso
- 1 tsp Vanilla extract
- Combine vodka, 1 ounce espresso and 1/4 cup Vegan Irish Cream in a cocktail shaker filled with ice. Shake vigorously until well chilled. Strain into a coupe glass or small martini glass. Garnish with coffee beans and grated nutmeg.
Shake the coconut milk well to ensure an even consistency. Whisk the coconut milk, Cream of coconut, coconut sugar, Irish whiskey, espresso and vanilla extract until the sugar is dissolved. Chill until ready to use.
